Warm congratulations to Yeon Min Park who has just won the First Prize and Audience Award at Lyon International Piano Competition, France. Yeon Min is an alumnus of Tel-Hai masterclasses and will be participating again this year, laureate of Pnina Salzman Prize and Concerto Competition, student of faculty member Prof. Aviram Reichert. We are very proud!

Warm congratulations to Yoav Levanon, a participant of Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes for the past 6 years, on receiving the ‘Young Talent’ 2019 Award from ‘Excelentia Foundation’ for Culture with Presidency of Her Majesty Queen Dona Sofia in Madrid, Spain.

Yoav performed as part of the ceremony in the Symphony Hall of the National Auditorium and had the honor of meeting with Her Majesty. Yoav is invited by the Excelentia Foundation to perform the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1, in October, at the National Auditorium in Madrid.

We congratulate Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes alumnus Tom Borrow for performing with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra throughout January 2019, playing Ravel's Piano Concerto in G Major, the same concerto with which he won the concerto competition at Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes.

BIG congratulations to our students Mohammed Alshaikh for winning 1st prize, and to Dani Dvorkin for winning 3rd prize at the Young Artist Competition in Jerusalem!

Mohammed participated in Tel-Hai Master Classes of 2017 and Dani participated in 2018.

We are very proud of you both and wish you all the success in your continuing careers as pianists!

Warm congratulations to Seung Hui Kim, student of Prof. Reichert and participant at Tel-Hai Master Classes in 2018, on her winning this September the 3rd prize at the International Karol Szymanowski Music Competition in Katowice, Poland.

Kim played Szymanowski Variations at our Gala concert at the Tel Aviv Museum this past August.

The Tel-Hai community sends heartfelt congratulations to our alumnus LAHAV SHANI on being appointed the Music Director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. We are hugely proud of Lahav's achievements and wish him, a successor to the legendary Maestro Zubin Mehta, tremendous artistic triumphs!

Tel-Hai Master Classes are proud to announce that Nimrod David Pfeffer, our former participant, has won the third prize in the Maestro Solti International Conducting Competition in Hungary.

Nimrod will also be conducting the Israeli Opera production of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" in February 2018, replacing Daniel Oren.  

We are very happy to announce that our co-recipient of the Pnina Salzman Memorial Prize for excellence at the 2017 classes, Ji Young Kim from South Korea (student of our faculty, Aviram Reichert), just won Third Prize at The 4th Maj Lind International Piano Competition in Helsinki, Finland (Dmitri Bashkirov was the Chairman of the Jury).
